About Us

Rooted in the
Community We Serve

PS 24 School-Based Health Center has been a cornerstone of wellness in the Bay Ridge neighborhood for over two decades. Located within the PS 24 campus on 38th Street, we exist to remove the barriers that keep children and families from getting the care they need.

Our model is straightforward: bring full-spectrum health services directly into the school environment. A student shouldn't have to miss class, miss work, or navigate a maze of referrals just to see a doctor. Here, care meets the community — at the doorstep.

We serve students of all ages enrolled at PS 24 and their families. No insurance? No problem. No fixed address? We work with you. Our doors are open, our services are free, and our commitment to every person who walks through them is unwavering.

Compassion First

Every interaction is guided by empathy and respect.

Inclusive Care

No one turned away — regardless of insurance or status.

Community-Driven

Programs shaped by the needs of Bay Ridge families.

Excellence

Licensed professionals delivering the highest standard.

Our Mission
"We believe that health is not a privilege reserved for those who can navigate complexity — it is a right, and it should be as accessible as the classroom itself."

PS 24 School-Based Health Center was founded on a simple conviction: when a child is healthy, they can learn. When a family is supported, they can thrive. We are here to ensure no student faces a health barrier alone.
